Karie McGavock, 7th Grade Counselor
Hello Broncos!! I am Karie McGavock. I am thrilled to be a part of the Mustang Bronco Family!! I have been in the education field for about twelve years. I took a break to be a stay at home mom to raise my sweet precious babies, who are now nine and eleven.
In my years of being in the classroom I realized I didn't just teach academics, I teach life!! I want to build and inspire the whole child as a scholar and a person. I believe in providing structure with the flexibility of choice and compromise. I have found more passion and excitement in the process of helping children, which has lead me to school counseling. I look forward to serving and working with you and your child as the seventh grade counselor!!
Angie Larson, 8th Grade Counselor
Hello Mustang Families! My name is Angie Larson and I am the 8th grade counselor. This is my 18th year here at MMS! I am always excited for a new school year and meeting your students. Aside from work, I am a mom of an amazing 11 year old boy!
I have a Bachelor of Social Work degree and a Master of Education degree in School Counseling. Before I was a school counselor I was a juvenile officer for Canadian County Juvenile Bureau then I went back to school and have been at MMS ever since !
I am very passionate about being an advocate for students. Student success is the goal and I am here to help in anyway that I can. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
