Head Principal

Ramae Collins
Hello Mustang Middle School families!
My name is Ramae Collins, and I am proud to serve as the principal at Mustang Middle School. This is my 35th year in education, and I still feel incredibly fortunate to do work that I love every day. I began my career as an elementary school teacher before moving to the secondary level to pursue my interest in mathematics. I taught both middle and high school math before serving as a district math coordinator.
While I enjoyed supporting teachers across the district, I missed the daily energy and connection that comes from working directly with students. That led me back to the school building as a site administrator. I spent six years at Mustang High School as the Curriculum and Instruction Principal before returning to what has always felt like home—middle school. I’m now in my sixth year as principal of THE Mustang Middle School.
I truly love this community and consider it a privilege to lead a campus filled with dedicated educators. Each day, I strive to help create a school where students thrive, teachers grow, and families feel connected. When I’m not at school, you’ll usually find my husband and me planning our next travel adventure, spending time with our family, or hanging out with our dog—who definitely runs the house these days.

J.C. WagnonÂ
Hello Mustang Middle School families! My name is JC Wagnon, and I am the 8th grade assistant principal here at THE Mustang Middle School. I have had the fortune to spend the entirety of my career right here in this building. I began teaching 6th grade English here in the fall of 2008, transitioned through many subject areas, served three years as the site athletic director before taking the leap into administration in the fall of 2021. I Graduated in 2008 with a bachelor’s in English Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and finished up a Master’s in Educational Leadership from East Central University May of 2021.
I’ve been married to my incredible wife, Rachel, since May of 2006. I have three little Mustang Broncos that pretty much rule my world. My mom always said, “Know who you are and what you represent.” I could not be more proud to represent Bronco Nation!!!
Assistant Principal

Ryen Muralt
My name is Ryen Muralt, and I’m proud to serve as the 7th grade principal at Mustang Middle School. This is my fourth year in the Mustang district and my fourteenth year in education overall. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and later returned to OU to complete my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2021. (Boomer Sooner!)
Prior to joining Mustang, I spent ten years teaching in Norman across various grade levels and was fortunate to take on several leadership roles. Transitioning to Mustang Public Schools has truly been a blessing. The district’s dedication to public education and student success is inspiring, and I’m incredibly grateful to be a part of it.
I am thrilled and honored to be part of the Mustang Middle School team. We’re looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead!
